not much to write home about!
I finally found a spot today (43St & B'way) where I not only saw the SSD and got connected but got the portal too when I opened Safari on my ipod Touch. It's very frustrating when you have to walk around trying to connect. At the red steps (tkts) it would not even connect. I kept getting an error (Unable to join the network "Times Sq Free Wifi")
The speed is kind of lame too: ~250/~250 (tested with the App from Speedtest.net)
